Our client Efor Holding enters the wind energy market with back-to-back transactions involving Nordex Group and Efor Holding subsidiaries Yellice Enerji Üretim A.Ş. and Gelgit Yenilenebilir Enerji ve Elektrik Üretim A.Ş. Germany’s Nordex Group agreed to supply and install 23 N163/6.X wind turbines with a capacity of 160MW (Yellice RES) and 10 N149/5.X NCV wind turbines with a capacity of 49.5MW (Gelgit RES), including 10-year maintenance and service agreements. Yellice project, which is tendered as YEKA project in 2025, is situated in Sivas and uniquely Gelgit project is in Istanbul. The total size of the two investment is approximately USD 280 million.
