Company Law and Harmonization
Referring to the statistics, there is an increase in the number of companies established in proportion to the economic development in Turkey. The number of companies established in Turkey has reached 310,000 during the 2013-2017 period. As many as 24,500 of these are foreign-owned companies.
On the other hand, it may be necessary for foreign companies that want to enter the Turkish market to harmonize legislation for commercial activities. Thus, with the increase in the number of multinational companies in recent years, the importance given to harmonization in Turkey has led to a marked increase.
